What is FCCLA?

FCCLA stands for Family, Career and Community Leaders of America. FCCLA was formerly known as Future Homemakers of America (FHA) which was established in 1945 and changed its name in 1999. 

 FCCLA is the ONLY student organization that focuses on the family.

It is the Ultimate Leadership Experience!!

 

 

FCCLA Information

 

Dues: $16.00

 

Points:

 

Money Points-  These points are icumulated by how much money you fundraise. one money point is equivalent to one dollar.

 

Work Points- You recieve work points for how long you work on a chapter project.

 

Service Points- You will recieve these for Volunteering on Chapter service projects.

 

 

 

FCCLA T-SHIRTS

The Chapter will have a Chapter FCCLA T-shirt the cost is usually around $8-10 if you would like to purchase one please see Ms. Nelson

If you sold enough cookie dough you will recieve your chapter T-shirt for free.

My favorite thing would have to be meeting all the new people at the various FCCLA events.

Why did you join FCCLA?

 

I joined FCCLA because I had always heard about the awesome activities, and I have always seen the things that FCCLA has done for our school and community, that is what made me want to join.

  • Spiro High School FCCLA members are given recognition in the morning announcements at school

  • Spiro High School FCCLA members are given recognition on all social medias from the chapter

  • Spiro High School FCCLA members are giver recognition at school assemblies

  • Senior chapter members are recognized in may for their work and dedication in FCCLA they are given a gift and a senior luncheon
